Descripción de la Oferta

The Role: SDD & AI-Driven Development Intern
What is SDD?
Spec-Driven Development (SDD) is our core methodology: no spec, no code. Before any feature is built, a written specification must exist that defines business logic, edge cases, data flows, and acceptance tests. This discipline keeps the team aligned and produces software that is maintainable, auditable, and reproducible.
Why this internship exists
We are at an inflection point. We've seen — and you've probably studied this — that most companies say they are adopting AI but very few change how they actually work. Our answer to that gap is SDD: applying structured thinking to every layer of the product, from client requirements to automation scripts to website deployments.
We are opening 2 new internship positions for people who want to learn how AI actually gets embedded in a real company, not just on paper.

Funciones del puesto

What you'll do
Write and maintain specifications for features in the Marte Website Builder platform, following our SDD templates (Purpose, Business Context, Automation Logic, Data Flow, Validations, Edge Cases, Integrations, Acceptance Tests)
Document existing business logic — reverse-engineer undocumented code into proper specs that the team can iterate on
Evaluate and test AI tools using SDD criteria: does this tool improve an outcome we can measure? Write the test plan before you run the test
Collaborate in agile sprints — participate in dailys, retrospectives, and planning sessions using Linear as our issue tracker
Bridge client needs and technical implementation — translate what an SME client actually needs into structured requirements that developers can build from
Contribute to the "internet signature" methodology — help formalize and improve the checklist-based process we use to deliver websites
